This Bosch Air Filter replaces the original equipment unit on Mazda CX-5 and Mazda3 2.5L Petrol models built from 2016 to 2025. The Cellulose media traps fine dust without choking airflow, which matters on Australian gravel and unsealed roads. Service life of around 30,000km applies in normal conditions; halve that for dusty and rural use. Panel dimensions are approximately 230mm x 180mm, with a moulded polyurethane frame that seals hard against the airbox. The frame is fully sealed at the corners to stop unfiltered air bypassing the element. Restriction is measured at under 110kPa at rated engine airflow.
