Parts sold by Partovin are backed by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of delivery. This is in addition to the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
What is covered
- Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
- Parts that fail prematurely when installed correctly in the vehicle they were supplied for.
- Replacement or refund – at our discretion, unless the law gives you the choice – for parts we confirm to be defective.
What is not covered
- Normal wear and tear of consumable items such as brake pads, filters, wipers, belts and bulbs once their service life is reached.
- Damage caused by incorrect installation, accident, misuse, lack of maintenance, modification or racing.
- Parts fitted to a vehicle other than the one they were specified for, where we advised against it.
- Labour, towing, hire car or other costs related to removing or refitting a part (unless required by law).
- Items bought for resale and consumables used in commercial fleets beyond the manufacturer’s stated service interval.
How to make a warranty claim
- Contact us at [Support email] with your order number, a description of the problem and clear photos. If the part was installed, include the installation date and vehicle odometer reading.
- We will assess your claim and may ask you to return the part for inspection.
- If approved, we will replace the part or refund you and cover reasonable return shipping.
Manufacturer warranties
Some brands provide their own warranty terms. Where this applies, it will be shown on the product page. Our warranty and the manufacturer’s do not overlap – we will help you with whichever is best for your claim.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
