This Roadsafe CV Joint Boot Kit replaces the original equipment unit on Volkswagen Tiguan models built from 2018 to 2020. The Neoprene component is heat treated for wear resistance and fatigue life under load. Fit with a press and the correct drift; hammering the assembly will damage the new bearing. All seals, clips, grease and hardware needed for the fitment are supplied in the kit. The assembly is built to original equipment tolerance with pre-set bearing preload where applicable. Symptoms of failure usually include a hum that changes with cornering load, or vibration under acceleration. Every unit is supplied new with a 2 Years / 40,000 km warranty against manufacturing defect.
