Built to original equipment form, fit and function, the NGK Glow Plug Set covers Ford Ranger 2.2L Turbo Diesel models built from 2015 to 2021. The Ceramic element reaches operating temperature in around 2 seconds, cutting cold-start smoke and cranking time. Always replace glow plugs as a set and torque to 8 Nm; over-tightening will snap the element in the head. A failed glow plug commonly shows as hard starting below ten degrees and a flashing coil light on the dash. Post-glow operation is supported, which keeps combustion stable during warm-up and reduces emissions. Sheath diameter is 3.5mm and resistance is approximately 1.2 ohms at ambient temperature.
