This Mann-Filter Oil Filter replaces the original equipment unit on Audi A4 and Audi Q5 and Volkswagen Golf 2.0L Turbo Diesel models built from 2016 to 2022. Thread and gasket dimensions match the factory unit, and a nitrile seal is pre-fitted to the base plate. The steel canister is roll-formed and pressure tested well beyond normal operating pressure. An integrated anti-drainback valve keeps oil in the filter at shutdown, so oil pressure comes up quickly on start-up. Change intervals of 15,000km are typical, or every six months for vehicles doing short trips and towing. The bypass valve opens at 100kPa to protect the engine during cold starts and heavy load.
