Engineered for Australian operating conditions, these Ferodo Front Brake Pads suit Ford Ranger 4x4 models built from 2017 to 2017. Rubberised backing shims and mechanical retention keep each pad located in the caliper for quiet, rattle-free operation. Nominal friction thickness is 18mm, matched to the original caliper piston area and rotor swept face. Underlayer construction insulates the backing plate from heat and protects the caliper piston seals. The friction compound is a Ceramic formulation that gives consistent bite from cold and resists fade under towing, hills and stop-start traffic. Each set is E-marked to ECE R90, so braking performance stays within the vehicle manufacturer's original tolerance. Chamfered and slotted edges cut brake squeal, while the scorched friction surface shortens the bed-in period to around 200km.
