The Steel component is heat treated for wear resistance and fatigue life under load. Symptoms of failure usually include a hum that changes with cornering load, or vibration under acceleration. Fit with a press and the correct drift; hammering the assembly will damage the new bearing. All seals, clips, grease and hardware needed for the fitment are supplied in the kit.
