This Dayco Timing Belt Kit replaces the original equipment unit on Volkswagen Golf 2.0L Turbo Diesel models built from 2015 to 2020. This is an interference engine, so a failed belt will cause valve and piston damage. Belt construction uses HNBR compound over high-tensile glass cord for stable tooth pitch across the service life. Bearings are pre-greased and sealed for the full life of the kit. Fit new coolant and a new water pump at the same time if the pump is belt-driven; the labour overlaps almost entirely. The kit contains the belt or chain, tensioner, idler pulleys and all fasteners required for the job. Replacement interval is approximately 100,000km or six years, whichever comes first.
