The Bilstein Rear Shock Absorber is a direct-fit replacement for Ford Ranger 4x4 models built from 2020 to 2021. Bushes and mounting hardware are supplied where the original unit was fitted with them. Damping rates are set slightly firmer than standard to control body roll with a loaded tray or roof rack. Twin-tube gas pressurised design resists aeration and fade on corrugated dirt roads. Extended length is approximately 516mm and compressed length 376mm, matching the factory mounting geometry. Rod diameter is 12.5mm with a hard chrome finish and a multi-lip seal package to keep dust out. The Steel construction uses a 41mm piston bore with a multi-stage valve stack tuned for laden and unladen comfort. Sold new with 24 Months warranty cover and full technical support.
