This Bilstein Rear Shock Absorber replaces the original equipment unit on Mercedes-Benz C-Class models built from 2017 to 2021. Bushes and mounting hardware are supplied where the original unit was fitted with them. The Nitrogen Gas Charged construction uses a 30mm piston bore with a multi-stage valve stack tuned for laden and unladen comfort. Extended length is approximately 506mm and compressed length 363mm, matching the factory mounting geometry. Twin-tube gas pressurised design resists aeration and fade on corrugated dirt roads. Damping rates are set slightly firmer than standard to control body roll with a loaded tray or roof rack. Fitting is a straightforward workshop job and no coding or calibration is needed. Every unit is supplied new with a 2 Years / 40,000 km warranty against manufacturing defect.
